This was a beautiful afternoon for a hike, so Dad took Ellie, Brian, Nicholas, Matthew and Joseph up to our favorite waterfall. They climbed all the way up to the top of the falls and were able to look down at the water cascading over the rocks. They came back tired, but full of stories. Here are a few of the pictures.
This is at the base of the falls on the little wooden bridge that crosses the creek. The hiking trail is across the bridge to the right. And up they go!
Here is a spectacular view of the waterfall from a rock even higher up. Someday I, Mom, would like to hike up to the top and see what they were able to see.
This is the perfect rock for a little rest and a picture.
